'Interesting' Backwoods Prep

Yesterday was backwoods prep.

For the SU:
As you have seen yesterday, the VU was working very hard, lugging all the equipment needed to Braddell West Lake, like the saw, parang, mallet and lots of firewood. We promptly started on the backwoods practice session, collecting more dry leaves and considered using the bow and drill method. We knew that the firewood was supposed to fuel the fire, and that there will be smoke produced.

So basically, we did some work, and endured the heavy rain! =)

-----The Next Section is Only for The VU-----

For the VU:

Nothing much.

Ok, so we met up at the den, then went off to Braddell West Lake with just carrying a few pieces of equipment. However, after the stroll there, the skies turned dark. And it was about to rain... and wet all of the perfectly crispy and crunchy leaves on the ground! So we had a leaf collection fun-thing, and got many of the leaves on the ground in a pile safe under the building:

And it started to pour. Water from the skies.

Backwoods + Lots of water = No cooking

Yep, so that was how it transformed into a batch bonding session instead. For some reason there was suddenly a sparked interest in the batch to play truth-or-dare. Really puzzling. So we just played some games, like one particularly dangerous game:

Look at how Jon Ed is reacting...and Sup, if you were unlucky it would have hurt. a lot. haha.

As a result of throwing the ball around...

Wow, so cooling.

Yep, and then we had the truth-or-dare session, which was really fail because nothing interesting came up, and it should really be forgotten. =)

Then Chee Yeow and Zhi Xuan taught us some fun games, like the WHACK, oww, oww, obie, obie thing, and the tapping hands game. Haha, it was a blast. =D

Lols, some people were particularly cunning...(tap reverse skip, all in a second. lol)

Haha, after some games, and ghost stories...haha, the sky cleared, and we cleared up. (haha) We wrote a message and placed it on the pile of leaves, hoping that noone would remove it...haha. And to make it more friendly and persuasive...

And then we left, and went back to the den to dry the metallic equipment and stuff...before we were dismissed.

See how the sky rewarded us for making full use of the afternoon in the rain? =D (Took this on my way home with Alvin, haha)
