Here's info about VC.

Date: 30th May - 1st June (3 days 2 nights)

Reporting venue: 7am at MacRitchie Venus Drive Carpark
Dismissal: 12pm at an unconfirmed venue

Venue: Whole of SG and outlying islands
Pack: Whatever you think you'll need (including FA kit (number not confirmed) & Survival Kit (1 per person) - inspection standard)

Skills needed & other stuff:
- Plot and Pace (bearing, plot location every 20/50/100m, control card, aperture card, pacing)
- Physical fitness (be able to run/cycle)
- Pack light
- Bring 10 stones per person
- 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches ($1.50 per person for breakfast, $2 per person for lunch)
- Staple, veg, meat required
- Emergency rations for 24 hours (sealed)
- Basha stuff
- Proficient fire-lighting skills
- No bathing points
- Scout uniform not necessary
- 1 piece of solid fuel per person
- Mess tins
- Parangs
- 2 maps for entire batch
- Groundsheet and poncho
- Patrols will vary from 2 people, to a quarter of the batch, to half of the batch.
- Sationary including OHP markers (EVERYONE)
- Ez-link and $10
- There will be inspection
- 3L of water per person
- Sandals/slippers optional
- Bring newspapers; about 2 days' worth

Survival Night:
- Leave you somewhere to survive for one night (in pairs)
- Prepare: rice, bread dough
- Build a shelter with available materials (vines, leaves, etc)
- Water procurement
- Build traps
- Prepare firewood
- Prepare food baskets
